The Saxophonist Kenny G - Inspiring Musician

Rocking with his melodious beat at the end of the day

The name of his musical Rhapsody is "Breathless!"

One touching many as a popular instrumentalist

He is continually rocking the world as a saxophonist

Born to a Jewish family in Seattle, Washington

He enjoyed playing with Barry White as a sideman

The Love Unlimited Orchestra enhanced his musical plan

With the orchestra he shined and took a grand stand

He is now one of the best with his saxophone in the land

Jeff Lorber Fusion gave him lots of musical credits

He started in college by studying accounting journals credits and debits

Accounting major he stepped away from to see if he had it

Playing without having to performed an accounting audit

He and his saxophone played their way into lots of musical merits

With Arista Records in 1982 he went solo

Some probably thought he must have gone loco

Collaborating with Andrea Bocelli and Whitney Houston

He was soon playing in Boston and Charleston

The fans went wild because they liked his musical style

Guinness Book of World Records made a note of his style

He held the longest recorded note by a saxophone; folks went wild

While an E-flat for 45 minutes and 47 second he played

The Hopkins-Bright Auditorium held their breath as he stayed

Looking back he actually made it an interesting day

Born as Kenneth Bruce Gorelick, he uses the name Kenny G

His music makes the body and mind agree

Setting the soul on a wonderful spree and burden free

He is the saxophonist which whom all agree

The man with rhapsody in his music for you and for me!
